Does anyone know who ownes the red 99 Cobra on Mildenhall?
:smmon: don't think anyone gets on here but You and I...
right on do know if theres a site that more people from here get on?
here are a couple sites i keep tabs on. and trust me i been searching for stuff since i first got here. not much going on right now, a few small meets here and there, but you gotta be willing to drive an hour, two or more. My GPS is on its way in the mail, when it gets here i will def be getting out and meeting people. I am about 30 to 40 miles from santa pod the quarter mile track. I plan on going out there soon also. Once i get the gps and you wanna get out i'll meet up with you to go to some of these meets. let me know
i am putting Holiday in for May for the huge SVT meet in Hanover, Germany every May, think only a couple guys from the UK are going i am gonna try to meet up for the drive down.

Is that Red Cobra the 1 with the Chomies? I know of him. Hes friends with my buddy that owns a 10th Cobra. We are all planning a track trip in March...weather permitiing. And I get on herer every once in a while....lol!
I thought it was a 99 but I could be wrong. Im down to go racing! Are you talking santa pod or a road race course?
Yea I think your rite. He works at Mildenhall. We are talkin about The Pod. Hopefully it will be my car, a stock 10th Cobra, my buddys blown GT, a stock 2010 GT, that red 99, and you if your down. We will probably meet a few people up there too, so it could be a good turnout....for around here anyway. Maybe we will hit up High Street for some pints and come up with a game plan before hand.
Wow, I used to live on Lakenheath, worked on RAF Mildenhall.
Lived off base for a year in Hockwold. 99-2002
Yea I know people that live over there. Ive been here for 3 years. Im ready to get the F outta here. England SUCKS! The car scene does too, mainly because of the weather. Ill be back in the states this summer tho!
let me know what weekend you guys plan on doing this. i will be on some british street tires so i know i will get slaughtered. question does anyone run DRs or slicks?
damn looks like I will have the slowest car out there. I think we should line them all up on highstreet in Newmarket one friday night.
I have some slicks
No i think i will be the slowest. the pavement/streets in the country suck dick. uneven, pot holes etc left and right. if you guys do this i am hour and half from newmarket i wouldn't mind coming out if you get decent group out and if its a bit warmer.
Just saw a NICE 03 Cobra 10 ann. at the shopette. Although his parking skills are lacking lol his back tire was way up on the curb
what color was the 10th anniv.? i might be going to santa pod next weekend, if anyone is interested just let me know its my first time there. helments required or they lax?
on there site it says anything that goes over 100 MPH needs one, but I think they rent helments. I would like to go, but I have to drop my tank and and do a few little things before I can go. Also I test on the 16th so I will be studying.
If anyone reads this 13 of March this Saturday i will be at Santa POd. I plan on buying a 35$pound helment. i have a nicer one but i left everything in the states. I am hoping for 13s in the quarter but we will see. i hope to beat up on some "boy" racers as they are called ricers in the States. my number is 07763053236 just text.
well I hope you get your 13z today! It turned out to be a nice one and Im stuck in the house studying.
How did the Pod turn out? We are trying to get a track day together. You guys have any suggestions?
