Not sure if u guys know who he is or if u did that he has passed away recently. I always had a dream of having him paint my motorcycle in his famous "Real Fire" but I guess that will remain a dream. IMO he was the most talented air brush artist to ever live! RIP......

Not to be a dick... but I wonder if it had to do with painting like that w.o. a mask.
Grandfather died a pretty shitty death from lung cancer, was a welder.

60 was too young for Mike Lavallee to pass. Sad news. I've seen some of his work over the years and it's beyond amazing. A true artist legend whose life was honored so well in Chip Foose's words in that video.

He lived not far from me and I had a few friends that knew him and did work with him. You always knew his work when you see it because it is so distinct.

Dude had MAD SKILLZ, and was a pioneer of “true fire”...which had MANY COPIERS, but none that reached his level, IMHO
