You turbo meth users how much of a benefit are you seeing from adding meth?

How much cooler are your IAT's and what blend are you using?

How much more aggressive did you go on your tune boost and timing? Results?

Would you do it again or go e85

Using meth on high boost netted me over 100rwhp and lowered my IATs a lot. I will check my dyno sheet. I am using VP racing M1 methanol.

Hmm sounds good. So that was over 100 with meth and 93?

I picked up 70 rwhp with 2.5 lbs of boost increase on cheap $2.39 a gallon K-mart special 0 degree windshield washer fluid....... IAT's are 10-15 degrees under ambient.

I ran a dual nozzle Alky Control kit and loved it. I ran 100% straight meth. No diluting. Ran max of 26psi on pump gas with meth. IATs would range between 60-80* depending on ambient temp. Made 765rwhp on 93pump/meth through a power robbing TH400 auto. Kept timing around 15-17*

Dual nozzle trunk mounted AIS progressive kit. I see IATs 20-30 degrees below ambient and I saw 60-70rwhp difference by adding 100% VP Racing M1 meth. I also picked up about 2 lbs of boost just because of the denser air charge.

AIS suggested that and said it would drop the iats about 15-20 degrees before hitting the inlet. I felt it wasn't that big a deal since my iat1s aren't bad.

I guess if I did that I would need to do 4 because of twin turbo. seems like over kill no?

If you wanted to spray pre turbo yes but I wouldnt bother personally. I would just put dual nozzles right before the throttle body.

At Bowling Green this year I saw IATs of 55 degrees at the end of my 28 psi 8.88@157 mph pass. I won't go past 17 degrees of timing though. That's with C16 AND meth. Just a personal thing to me. The possibility of building an engine isn't worth the 20 horse more timing might give.

So was that a c-16 blend or straight c-16. How much boost you think you can run safely with 93 and meth?

I ran 24lbs with 93 and meth. It made 863/741

Ive been 26psi with 93 and straight meth. This was with a 8.2:1 CR motor. 765rwhp thru a TH400 Auto

Hmmmmm....... I wonder how much higher I can go if I switched to 100% meth..... I'm on 15.5-16 lbs now at 17degrees of timing.... With about 10:1 compression

Hellion single T76 and snow stage 2 single nozzle, made 740/754 @ 18.4 psi on 94 + 100% meth. Stock motor. On 16 PSI I made 640 off meth and 704 with meth on back to back pulls.
