MD VEIP Kiosk

MD has instituted self service immisions testing kiosks. Has anyone tried this yet? Self service and open 24 / 7 has an attraction. Thanks

Didn't know about this, but I'm willing to give it a shot if it's somewhere convenient. Mine's due buy 7/13.

Well count me out. My car's a '98.

Drove to the Gaithersburg location Saturday afternoon. Nice, I was the only one there. Simple to use, just follow the on screen prompts. The software is a bit slow, so you end up waiting for the next screen. Plugged the scanner into my OBD II connector and after trying twice I received the message that it could not communicate with my car and to go to a full service location. Very disappointing. Oh well.

Used the one in Glen Burnie on my 14 Escape and it was super easy.

Had it tested at the "full service" location off Redland Road and passed with no problems. Don't know why I had issues at the kiosk.
