Finally got my mine in. Here's my experience so far..
- Awesome, super detailed instructions. Quality piece!
- Cut along the weld on the driver side cat, measure, weld.
- I ordered the full 3", but my 3" cat back reduced to 2.5. So we cut the reducer off the cutback, and welded in a 3" slip joint there. So full 3". It was really easy!
- I now pull the exhaust off completely as one piece. My system is still easy to separate, but I hate aligning the rear pieces around the irs. So I suggest doing the same if you go my route.
- Cutting the cats was a serious seat of the pants difference + E85 tune. I'll hit the dyno, and get good sound vids once the torrential downpour stops in OKC.
