I have a stock 2001 GT, I am adding a JLT CAI and a tune. My question is; will I get anything more out of a mail order (Lund / Amazon) tune over the one I get with the programer (is it worth the extra money for a stock GT)????

you have to be careful about this.. some times a mail order tune is a canned tune..always make sure that you are dealing with a tuner who is sending you custom tunes via email and not canned tunes
get a mail order, people are going to jump on and off tuner bandwagons (we all do it including me) but go out and talk to a few tuners and the one you find to be the most comfortable with will have your business
You said 2001 GT... Did you mean 2011?
