Magnum shifters

When i purchased my magnum there wasn't a choice on shifters. Well i was on there site and they now make some offset short throws for it. Does any one have one and how does it fit? Trying to get rid of that reach.

I know this is a old thread, but figured I'd chime in for ya.. If you want to get rid of the reach, look into the MGW handle.. It's fully adjustable and eliminated the reach on my Magnum.. I do have long arms though.. But it is very comfortable to drive with the handle. I hope this helps

I have the mgw shifter but the tremec has one that comes back 2". Just dont know if they hit anything or if people like them.

MGW makes a short throw for the T56 Magnum?

The magnum shifter is like the TKO shifter. Never had both at the same time but they very look the same .

I have a T56 magnum in my Fox body and thought a new Steeda shifter for a TKO 500/600 would fit. No dice, even though the flange looks the same, the magnum base is actually about an inch longer.

I found out about the larger Magnum T-56 size when I researched making a shifter gasket for it. I initially thought it might be close to the TK 500/600. The TKO 500/600 overall gasket size is 3 1/2 X 6 11/16, and the Magnum is 4 1/4 X 7 3/8.
