Now we're talking. Everyone is commenting about the 7.3 going into f150, which will never happen, now that would be cool is they brought the BOSS back with an alum block, different cam, head work, 7.3

I agree , the mach 1 was actually aimed more at drag racing at the time.

My opinion is that it should have had the NA 5.2 CPC. That would have been in line with the more recent Mach 1 that came with basically the Terminator engine, sans blower and nifty boostable internals.

Ford needs to chill with all the track-spec cars lol. We have SO many good options out there for folks interested in that type of car. I think a jump in performance and a "every-mans" street/strip setup would be cool, maybe even comes with an OEM wheel/slick deal you can swap at the track. A warmed over 7.3 would fit the bill perfectly in that car, although that'll probably never happen.

I think the ram air hood from the 71-73 Mach would better on this car. Styling cues in the front grill from that era would also look good. Combine that with a 429 cobra jet and this is a car I would personally be interested in buying.

    How about: 5.0 w/ 500hp, DCT, PP2 = MACH ?

    THAT could be very intersting.
