Mach 1 motor VS. Cobra motor

Can anyone explain the difference in the '03 Mach 1 motor versus the '03 Cobra motor.....other than the Supercharger?

Mach1 has....
.Aluminum block
.non-forged internals (other than the fact that the 5-speeds come with a forged crank)
.different intake

anything else? I can't remember...

Cobra is 8.5:1 CR and the Mach is 10.0:1 I think.

Mach uses Navigator Exhaust cams for sure, not 100% sure on intake side though, I'll check tomorrow at work (work = Ford dealer parts department)

ok, so the parts system at work crossed the Mach's intake cam to a '99-'02 Navigator cam and to the current Maruader.

Whats the pros about Forged Internals and the Cons about forged internals?

WHat do forged internals do that help the cobra.

Can i get forged internals on my mach 1?

Forged internals are for setups where you're running very high power. Like super charger and turbo setups. If the '03 Cobra didn't come with them, the engine would fail the long term tests of running the s/c.
Not sure about any cons besides cost.

Of course you can get forged internals. You just have to take your car to an engine shop and have them do it for you. Pretty pricey though... I'm sure somebody can fill in here with past experiences.
