I'm going to attempt this one, but any real lawers out there feel free to correct me, I'm just a student. First of all, you admitted to speeding when the cop asked if you were going a little fast. Don't ever do that. They want you to admit things so they'll ask "Where are you going in such a hurry?" and you have to respond "I'm not in a hurry" ... see its cruel and tricky!:nonono: Next, don't ever give a cop a reason to suspect you. Never volunteer information (be SILENT!!) Volinteering tons of info when cops don't request it makes you look REALLY suspicious. So any future altercations involving your VIN just keep quiet. Because they used a visual determination/ "estimation" of speed, you can probably get the ticket reduced, but you could have accomplished the same thing with less frustration by simply asking to see the radar readout (which they don't have to show you but they would have to explain their whole story). Just stick to your "I just got on the highway and this guy was flying at first and started breaking hard, so I rolled by him and the next thing I know I'm being pulled over" story and you'll be ok. A lesser fine maybe. Good luck and I hope this helps :)
