Sounds and looks really good man! Nice attention to detail, especially the OTR intake. Should help carry power nicely

Yep it is a roadcourse car. T56 trans, 8.8 IRS Explorer diff with Detroit Trutrac and 3.73s.

Bigger brakes, coilovers, all solid suspension and subframe bushings.

Car should weigh 2600-2700 lbs.

Nice build. Love the 8.8 rear too. T56 a viper spec, or going with a face-plated/similar setup?

Great job with this build. I like it a lot. It sounds SO good. I had to smile watching the video because I remember the RX7 from back in the day. They were decently performing cars but mild by today's standards. The sight of the car coupled with the mean sound of the LS1 contradicts my memory. LOL. But I absolutely love this car!

Thanks for the compliments guys. I will have a few better pictures in the next couple weeks when I can get it out of the garage and get it washed.

The T56 is out of an F body with all upgraded internals except for Viper mainshaft. Should be good for around 700 HP, much more than I ever plan to have. The shifter comes up through the factory location.

Here are some more pictures..

Nearly final wiring, F body ECU is mounted under the factory kickpanel. 2 Quart Accusump mounted under the dash. As you can see, all HVAC, Radio and other non essential creature comforts have been removed.

That looks great! Congrats on the build and successful start. Out of curiosity, how many people you have working on this? I have great friends but not 4 of them who know enough that I could trust them to work on my car.

I had 3 other guys there the day I started it to sanity check everything an lend a hand with the final details and fluids. I took notes on what was done, and what still needs to be done. I trust all 3 of them. I race with them and have worked on their cars as well, they know what's up.

You must have had to do some MAJOR floorpan Mods to fit that T-56 in there:??:
