just blew the head gaskets today.. figure since im already going to have half the motor out, might as well rebuild the full thing...looking to run around 21-28lbs of boost on the 3.4, any advice or words from the wise?

Get a reputable builder to put a shortblock together for you.
Modular Performance and Boss 330 seem to have the best reputations around from all the research I've done.
I'm getting Modular Performance to build me a shortblock now using the new FRPP 5.0L Big Bore (3.700") block using Oliver Billet rods and Diamond pistons. Looking for 1000rwhp and it should be up to the task.
It was the most appealing combination to me out of anything else out there. It certainly wasn't the cheapest but it's gonna be one tough sob.
Modular Performance also are gonna make this happen for me in 3 1/2 weeks which I thought was an impressive turn around time, Boss 330 would have been much longer...
