look what i found in my motor today.

i bought a 97 mk8 long block this weekend, and stripped it down some tonight. my buddy gave me a good deal on it, and said #8 was low on compression. fine by me, i just want it for the block and the valve covers and etc to throw a forged goodies inside it.

i was pretty shocked to find this when i pulled the drivers side head off!

haha! head looks ok tho. i dont think the car was run like this due to the lack of damage. just thought id share.

the motor sat for a while with no intake manifold on it, but it was definitely turned over with it in there. so i have no idea how long it was in there for.
