How is the gas and exhaust smell inside the car without cats?
Windows down at a redlight I tend to get a light wif from time to time. Even with stock manifolds and an O/R H, stock exhaust you'd get a little. I like the smell

I would recommend to call and see if anyone is offering an off road mid with their headers. I got one of the last ARH setups through Van when they stopped.

Your next hurdle would be some one who will provide the proper tune

If your not going for max effort car, I think stock manifolds are fine. I've had 2 with headers, one without. Not much of a gain, but hits the wallet hard

Absolutely. I am old too. I'm sure 50 years ago I would have thought otherwise.
I'm 47 lol Cant stand X pipes, no cats

I had stainless works headers and didn't have to remove them to do my clutch. Just popped out the pipes going from the headers to the x pipe just to get at the shifter and driveshaft easier.
