Long tube egr fitting, what am i missing?

Does a screw into b, or is it one piece? Do i need the little extension nut from bbk to marry this egr to the egr bung??

nevermind i figured it out by watching an install video. i am one of the unlucky ones and mine is stuck.

Had that happen on my 01. Thankfully I had a big vise to hold piece B to get everything apart.
