Did the battery come with the proper terminals to hook up to the factory battery cables? or did you have to order separate, I am thinking of going to a lithium

Most sites will offer the terminals as well for a little extra. In my case amazon gives you the "would you like to add SAE terminals for $16" so I added them. My reasoning for not going Lithium at this time was, This is just an $80 battery, I can buy 3-4 before adding up to the cost of the lithium. With the lithium being way more sensitive to discharge I would've had to buy a tender too. BUT lithium would've been ~6lbs lighter.

With good weather quickly approaching Ive taken another couple steps. I pulled the 28x6 MT sportmans in exchange for 27.5x4 MT ET fronts. Cutting almost 12lbs per front runner combo. I did this now since the Sportmans are still in great shape I can sell them and actual out of pocket cost is minimal. Also pulled rear mufflers for 6in turndowns. Looks like bad now but we're just testing now, it will be getting Vbands instead of 3 bolt flanges for quicker changes.

Important to note how good the Magnaflow resonated X is that the car still isnt too loud while being a catless longtubes and muffler delete car.

I say I’ve started the 2018 winter on the right foot. First and only pass at +500DA (65*F and 80% humidity) on Lund Racing’s 93+torco tune. Stock converter on the baby Procharger P1sc. New PB, Best mph, best 1/8 ET, best 1/8th mph.

I think it has 10.1x and 109 in the 1/8th as is.

How much Torco are you using/adding?

New PB!!! Same mods but Lund sent me a “here try this 100oct” tune file. Car is still stock converter making 10.5 psi! Full premium interior

Thanks. I highly doubt it will go 1.5x. But any little bit will help.

Car dropped 3* of timing in the logged pass in 4th gear. Might be why mph is stronger in the 1/8 but little to no change in the 1/4. Lund recommended some Brisk RR12s. I’ll likely change my O2 sensors just because they’ve taken quite a beating for 32000 miles.

Yea. I’m chasing a random misfire. Lund says it’s like plug related but I’ll be changing 02 sensors as well since they’ve taken a lot of punishment in 32000 miles. Once those 2 are in I’ll be going down to 4.38 pulley and going back to track. In that 10.0 pass car was seeing 20* and as soon as the code came in timing advance dropped 2* in 4th gear.


Fore fuel system is sitting in garage waiting to go in.

great pass on stock converter. definitely a 9.x in it if you can get the 60' down.

I've seen you there the last couple times I took my car out. You were right next to me in lane 9... I'll say hello next time.

In my sig pic. if that cant be seen for some reason. its a GB '13 with black cowl and rocker stripes , chrome drag stars.

you may be able to get some more out of the stock converter if you ran a wastegate setup, but a converter would be the better choice imo, makes the car much more responsive around town once you get it dialed in how you like it.

Thought about it. Don’t think I want the turbo problems. I like the simplicity of my setup and the consistency....I know I’m gonna get 10.5 psi each and everytime. Worse case it slips and gives me less. But hasn’t yet in almost 2 years.
