lightning upper pulley swap.

Hello new to this. Just purchased my 02 harley. Love it. But had a question. I was wondering if i could swap the snout off a lightning to my harley. With no problem. Its stock. Only mods done to it are a magnaflow exhaust and a jlt cold air intake. Would i harm the motor if i do so. And info would be great. Thanx.

You can if you want as it will just up the boost 1-2#'s.

I wouldn't though, as its a smaller upper pulley on the L's so you will increase chance of belt slip...unless you change the pulley belt also.

Also, all the upper change does on the stock Eaton is increase the amount of heat your putting on the motor. If you gonna swap a pulley, swap out the lower. Put a 4#-6# lower on there, change the plugs to NGKTR6's, clean the intercooler while you are in there, and get a good safe tune...then enjoy.
