Thanks brother. I’d rather have that than any modern truck for enjoyment. I hope you have a chance to get one someday.

I’m very fortunate to have it. My wife regrets building it because I’m in there more than the house. I don’t regret it lol

I built mine too small a few years ago. The next one will be YUGE!

I was planning a smaller one and it was my wife who said to go big or regret it. We came up with 45’x60’ as sufficient size, so that’s what we built. If It weren’t for her I would have something smaller.

They're great trucks. Gutless by today's standards, but they're reliable and have a 3 cyl diesel engine in the back driving the pump. We've tested them with about 600 feet of 1.5" hose with a fifty foot rise at the end and the hoses will fail before the water pressure is lost. We have three of them, and they're actually sequential VIN numbered.

Manual or auto?

Do you still have that truck?

I'll be giving mine a little love in the next few weeks.

Auto. I wish they were manuals. The use case includes a pretty steep dirt road to the top of Loma Prieta, the local mountain. Last time I came down, empty of water, the brakes were basically smokin'. At least they have a "retarder" on them lol. It's a big drum brake on the driveline.

Excellent 2 stroke stable there. The early cr250s have been fetching good money the last few years and the steel framed Yamaha’s gaining some momentum
