I had a similar situation in that a girl I knew offered me her dog, after a divorce and no longer being able to care for him. I knew I’d end up dropping a ton of money into the guy and indeed I did. Could have spent the cash on a full retard / top of the line suspension set up for the trucks, but instead went with a mid tier for the pick up and a basic tier set up for the SUV.
Have not regretted it, not one bit. This goofy bastard is one of the best buds I have ever had.
