I’ll have to check this out. Before COVID we took yearly end of summer trips to SB and would hate to see it also suffer the same fate as many tourists destinations in CA.

The SB he is talking about is San Bernardino. That town has been going downhill since the mid-90’s when Norton air force based permanently closed. You may be thinking of Santa Barbara; completely different area… way less homicides, homeless, and crackheads.

I suppose it’s good for those who do own but not good for those who are looking to buy first time.

Then again, I know there are lots of expensive areas but there are plenty of affordable areas too.
