I had mine done 18 months ago at 42 years old. With my glasses I was already having issues with near sightedness. Had to take glasses off to read where as 2 years earlier I could focus on reading even through my prescription. I asked for the best eye doctor to do my LASIK and found a great retina specialist. He’s an eye physician that does LASIK at night. I would only get this done with the best eye surgeon not the best LASIK guy. He used the Femtosecond FS200 and EX500 lasers for my procedures. He said to do one eye so I don’t lose near vision being I was 42. But I’d lose depth perception and asked about 100/95% like I read. That’s what I got. It worked great 20/20 and 20/30 with my eyes and still reading well with no glasses. I never saw halos. I saw rainbow glare when I looked into light sources for about 2 months and had dry eyes for about 6 months.
