Thanks OP, very interesting. Wonder how it reacts to rubber, plastic, glass, carbon fiber, and painted surfaces?
Curious what the operational and pm costs are. Already mentioned that the laser is a significant investment.

I’ve seen a few 1000W ones in the sub $30,000 range on google.

I don’t believe these would work on non-metallic items like rubber and such, Lambeau.

I wonder how well the less expensive 1000W laser removal tool performs compared to the $550K one shown in the video. That is a huge price difference.

Imagine, though, having this technology available in a few years at under $250 for the average consumer. What a GREAT tool that could then be a part of most consumers' tool inventory.

I can see where the would be super useful to us but not at anywhere near that price.

Like Bob said, when the price comes down over a few years it could be pretty slick to have.
