I have that large vacuum hose that is attached to the intake just in back of the throttle body, it runs down the passenger side firewall and disappears way down somewhere. What vacuum hose is it and where does it end up? It is rotted and needs to be replaced. (dont see it on the vacuum diagram)

It has something to do with the EVAP system. I think it's the hose for hooking up smoke machines to check for leaks. I want to say if you follow it under the fender well it'll lead to a fitting with a green cap.
the purge valve for the evap system is down there in the fender behind the wheel well liner. It vents fumes from the fuel tank into the engine
