Have you seen what ford is doing lately? I have a hard time believing they can tie their own shoes over at the blue oval.
I think the current GT500 is pretty darn good machine, with actual engineering behind it.

yes,i remember that, and he did the viper.
Ok we know SHELBY did not do the viper that's common sense. He was brought in because the head of dodge wanted a modern cobra.Shelby most definitely did not do the viper. He simply helped publicize it.
Beyond the Cobra's/Daytona's/GT's on the 60's, I'm not sure Shelby contributed much on the technical development role past that.
Nick, do you expect there to be a substantial ADM on the 2022 GT-500? That, of course, would push the GT-500KR price UP!
I saw that video, it was Throttle House and if I remember correctly the Super Snake also twisted the frame and cracked the rocker panel. I agree on the 13/14 being the last real SSYou are correct.SHELBY said himself that,''We gotta take the people that go out and work for a living be able to afford our cars.''Using a 5.0 to make that super snake that you are talking about was a dam shame.A youtube channel tested a droptop version of that super snake and it fell apart and kept going into limp mode.To me the last real super snake were the 13-14 GT500.
Yes you are correct. That was a sad showing of a super snake.I saw that video, it was Throttle House and if I remember correctly the Super Snake also twisted the frame and cracked the rocker panel. I agree on the 13/14 being the last real SS
Personally I would've liked to see them do something w/ the 350's rather than using the 5.0 platform. I know Shelby did a widebody on a Fathouse 800R build that looked amazingShelby still converted the 13/14's for several years after that point, but they had to make due with what Ford was offering in 2015+. Maybe that's why they were so successful in the truck market. Two out of three Shelby's from SAI these days are trucks. I for one would love to have a Super Baja.

The special edition 350 is mainly cosmetic mods, I would've liked to have seen a Supercharged or Twin turbo buildGary Patterson, President - Shelby American meets with the Ford team on a monthly basis to review strategy, and talk about stuff SAI can do that Ford decided is too expensive, or couldn't get done in time. FWIW, SAI does do a Special Edition GT350. I met a woman from S.C. in August who had hers converted and she was very happy with the result.
Shelby definitely does the best widebody. I love mine.
I agree 100% NOBODY does a better widebody than SHELBY!What made this car even more special, they changed the front end.The new kr should have had a different front and rear end.Gary Patterson, President - Shelby American meets with the Ford team on a monthly basis to review strategy, and talk about stuff SAI can do that Ford decided is too expensive, or couldn't get done in time. I see what you did there, Nick. And no, I won't bet with you on that one. LOL.I'm not sure it will be bigger than years past, but it won't be less either.
