***Newest round of updates are on page 30 with pics****

*Edit* Decided to make this a under construction/build type thread...

*Pics will be added a lot on almost every page so for those who like pics, I am sure to have a lot of them...

*Going from a E85 powered 2.9 full exhaust and stock longblock, stock suspension setup making 722 to this fully built motor/tranny and full front to back suspension setup. This entire setup came from a running car that drove like a stock honda civic, was just a little louder ;-) This setup made 740ish on 20 lbs with very low timing on e85 and on the 25lb pulls it made 980. I am going with the 25lb setup and having Kurgan do the tuning. Car Should be back on road end March, beginning of April, and I cannot wait! Absolutely in love with how everything turned out, going away from the polished stuff and more into the powder for less up keep and finicky polishing...looking to do a color combo that I personally havent seen before with this setup, hope you like...

Just asking because a cog drive isn't usually idea for a street driven manual trans car. It is really harsh on the supercharger.

This car is gorgeous, I remember seeing it @ Mustang Week 2K12. Hopefully you have it this year finished up. I'll have mine down this year representing torch red as well.

Thanks guy's and yep itll be done the end of this month and ill be on the way to kurgan to see what it does. This same setup made 980 on the 25 lb cogs on a conservative side of the timing with e85 with the previous owner. The motor, trans, rear end gear have all been built around this f1a, with no expense spared.

word of advice, Double key the crank if you haven't. I had a Cogged F1A on my car and it cracked my ATI balancer.

+1 ... I have even seen a double keyd crank snap . That was on my friends F1R camaro small block with a Th400 automatic on the street. ( with a crank support and all ) making around 900 HP.
All I'm saying is , I've seen it happen way too many times on street cars or race cars . The Cog system is Brutal and puts a lot more strain on everything especially when you press or release the accelerator fast..
