So apparently Kooks released their own Hellion knockoff/clone...

2011-2014 Ford Mustang GT/Boss 302 Armageddon Twin Turbo System - Turbo Kits

Why the hell is the system so damn expensive, i mean aside from the Kooks name stamp?
10+K??
Seems they also include an a/c line with the kit lol.

Ridiculous. I cannot believe that have the audacity to even try. Wait, at this day and age I'm not surprised. Just another stick in the mud..

Edit: when will companies go for many sales and lower prices instead of high price and few sales..!?

Well yeah lol.
Thats how i look at them. Hellion was the first to the punch as far as i know, and all the kits place the turbo the same way in the engine bay it seems.
Granted im a noob when it comes to turbos :p

Garrett > Precision and consequently more expensive too.

Precisions turbos are blatant Garrett copies. I have two Precisions now and if they require yet another rebuild, they will get replaced with Garretts.

Does Hellion use 304 Stainless? Their site only says "100% Stainless" which makes me think it's 409.

If it's the Garret and using 304 instead of 409, there is your price difference right there.

Huh... Would think those turbo's aren't big enough for a Coyote.

Well we all know that Kooks makes some damn good headers, and their quality is top notch. So couple that with their own design and inhouse production of 304 Stainless turbo headers along with most likely a T6061 high grade Aluminum intercooler, and Garrett turbos, there is the $10k price mark right there.

I highly doubt those GT30Rs are going to make 1200whp. Maybe to the crank.

Seems like quality parts... not sure i care for the wastegate and dump tube placement.
Also $10k price.... heck no.

At $10,500.00, can't wait to see how well they sell.. Should spool quick, but these turbos are only rated to 500hp compared to the 6266's rated for 750hp on the hellion kit. I would guess that it's going to max out at about 900rwhp(if that).

Been working the last couple hours to get this up on the site, and get my post together, and then saw this.

The kit is nice, no cutting needed, top quality stainless, top quality turbos, top quality tbolts, top quality rubber.

Lots of turbo upgrades available as well.

We have the complete kit on our site here.

2011-2014 Ford Mustang GT / Boss 302 Kooks / Motiva Armageddon Complete Twin Turbo System

What's the max power that's been made on the standard GT3076R's and what boost? Why such small standard turbo's with all the airflow the Coyote pushes? Are they setup more for just stock motors?
