Knock off Kook headers (Racing Innovation)

I had these on for about 200 miles but had an issue (not with the headers) and had the engine pulled and built. Had some money left over and decided while the engine is out I'm going to go with the real kook headers and xpipe. Only issue was the header on the drivers side had to be adjusted with some heat and a hammer so it wouldn't rub on the frame rail when loading up the engine. I'm asking $350 shipped for headers, o/r xpipe and box with hardware for the install (re-used factory hardware. I had Shaun@aed tune this with no issues either.

Not trying to bash or anything but have a couple of questions. First are they stainless? Second did you actually see any gains with these? Im only asking because the asking price is less than half of a similar setup.

Yes there stainless. I did not get any dyno numbers with them. There was a group buy for these awhile ago and don't know if anyone bought any from these forums or not.

Because this was the second time everything was going to be out and having the engine built with the best and figured I would splurge and get the real ones why I'm at it. Had some money left over and got a amazing deal on the 1 7/8 kooks. Also the ones for sale are 1 3/4 and I went with 1 7/8 this time.

That I could not tell you. There based off of the kooks so I would think it would be close. Both sets of headers ended up in the same spot.

Hey redline how was the fitment and quality of those headers. I was looking at some on ebay but was concerned about them being so cheap.
