What do you think of the para 3 maximet? Worth it?
I daily carry a Maxamet Native 5. I work in a warehouse so I put it through hell every day and that steel has quite literally retired all of my other knives. It's that good. If you want a blade that never needs sharpening Maxamet is the way to go.

Looking at some hand made kitchen knifes. I think if he can change up the handle a bit I'd buy them. Asking 250.00 for this set.

Added a new civivi mini praxis to the rotation as an edc I wouldn't hesitate to pull out to pop into a box or through tape, etc. Something I'm sometimes hesitant about with the bugouts.

I did end up getting a para III in maxamet. Agree, it is tough as hell. I have heard there can be issues with rusting though.

Anyone have experience with Chaves? I am interested in an Ultramar Street. I know there are two different lines of Chaves, one that is legit another that is Chinese made. Anyone have an opinion?

I recently decided to buy some knives (my old SOG has seen better days). Was looking at Spiderco, but ended up with some Benchmades. Was actually looking to snag the Nimravus… but I bought a mini Adamas and was so pleased with it that ended up with the full size fixed Adamas instead. waiting on some scales to replace the paracord that it comes with. Will still probably end up with the Nimravus. Love the design.

Touching back on the knife subject…. Finally got the G10 handles I ordered for my fixed Adamas knife:

Nice. I wanna get me a tanto style blade eventually.
I just checked out a 3 piece set of Kitchen Knives from Benchmade. Not sure I'm ready to drop 850 bones but I'd get more use out of them than than any of my guns..hahaha

I have three of these in difference sizes. Cheap...but has held a great blade for years.

I bought one from William Sonomas which wasn't cheap and it's dull as shit. Need to send it in.

Not bad. I may buy a kitchen set soon. Will probably go with victorinox on that.
