As a LEO i use mine occassionally cut a few seatbelts, used the glass breaker once. I have a neck knife i wear along with with my ZT and leatherman. Its probably overkill to need 2 knives but i like knowing theyre accessible when i need them most.

As for everyday when im home, when my wife bought me the benchmade, she thought it was insanely expensive (little does she know) to spend on a knife. As i opened a case of water bottles, i didnt need to use a knife but why not, she was like "really? Thats what you need it for?" Lol but i do use it quite often around the house. I used it alot more in construction. I realized the need for quality knife when a cheap knife tip broke off prying a zip tie! Or constantly sharpening a softer steel, after a day or two of hard use.

Holy crap, benchmade balisongs are expensive. There goes more mod money. thanks.

HAHA, if you think Benchmade Balisongs are expensive don't ever look at custom balisongs. I'll also add that customs are much better quality than the Benchmade ones. Check out Dobruski, Terry Guinn, Marlowe, Flavio Ikoma, etc. and you'll think Benchmade balisongs are cheap.

My brother bought me this Spiderco, it's got some fancy carbon fiber weaving and the handle is really light. It's a neat looking knife.

And this is my EDC knife that I've had for a few years. It's a Ken Onion Leek and it's been a good knife for me. The lock that holds the blade from accidentally opening broke and the screws for the clip fell off so I just carry it in my pocket as is. Makes it feel smaller without the clip too.

Can you guys tell me anything about this knife ? It was given to me about 15 years ago by my brother. What is the tool used to tighten the grip ? Also any maintenance tips on sharpening cleaning etc highly appreciated.

Thanks,
Rob
