Just wondering, For my BAP i read online to wire it into the system after the FPDM, the Brown/Pink wire, i was told that the best way would be before the FPDM for ease of tuning.

Just wondering if someone could enlighten the situation for me, i have it installed after the FPDM will it make a difference?

is there any advantage/disadvantage to either way because i have mine post fpdm...

Post-fpdm takes control of varying the pump voltage away from the pcm. Pre-fpdm keeps the pcm in control of delta-p or working pressure. It would suffice to say pre is better because the pcm has more control of your fuel delivery.

The voltage doesnt hurt the FPDM? going from 14V to the like 17V?

Most people have it pre. Running the bap pre means the current increase does not go to the fpdm, post it does and is hard on the fpdm and could cause themal shutdown. It's CURRENT that kills electrical components. Also be sure you have the wire upgrade for the 40a bap. You will be better off doing it this way.
