KB BAP hissing

Also posted in KB tech section. I tried doing some searching but didn't find anything...

I just started up my cobra this morning and immediately noticed that electrical hiss that some electronic equipment makes. Only problem was that this was over my borla stingers and bassani x-pipe. I popped the trunk and the hissing is coming from the 40 amp red box. Changing the voltage (BAP dial knob, turning on lights, etc) alters the pitch of the hissing, but does not remove it.

Turning off the car and back to the accessory switch (?) I can hear the fuel pump prime, but no hiss. Once I fire it off, the hiss comes back.

Any suggestions?

My BAP has a whine, but it's not that loud.

Yeah. When I first installed the BAP the pumps got much louder, but never this hiss. It was dead quiet before this morning.

Maybe check all your grounds and where the wire comes thru the fire wall.

Mine does the same thing...hell sometime i can hear it while im driving down the road...its annoying but whatever, its doing its job...i think of it as the fuel pump supercharger whine lol!
