I will for sure lol. gotta talk to the family see what's going on. I have a lot of family in CA, would be hard to leave, but I am so over this goddamn state. If I can grow a new business in MO that would be awesome. If I move it will be early/mid 2020. would have to list my house after the winter for a good sell. I don't even wanna think about all the shit I have LOL. Moving out of state would be a ****ing bitch.

Buy a clean California rust free 4x4 truck and use it to move. When you get to MO, sell it and make a profit on it. Use profit to buy beater Subaru or AWD crossover SUV.

OK, it might not be that cut and dry value-wise ( :D ), but you'd probably make money on that truck.

thanks for the offer Nick. We'll be kid free for the first time in months so between the BBQ, baseball game and all-day bed party I just don't know. I don't know if we'll have enough time.

I love it. Just my speed.

I have to imagine CA will be completely void of people with a brain in the next 20 or 30 years.

And west of State Line RD in Kansas we have no smog or front plates, constitutional carry (like #3 for pro gun laws in the nation) really nice roads (2nd most miles of state highways, only California has more.) It's hard to go wrong on either side.
Down here in Wichita about everything revolves around aviation, no where near as much "fun" as KC but things are cheap, and at rush hour I can drive across town in 30-35 mins.

I say this because, from my experience, the Phoenix and California auctions get a lot of cars that are sent back east. The used car market in Phoenix is eye opening!

I shop Manheims and Adesas across the nation. I wouldn't say that you can get ridiculous steals out there.

I'd be more apt to say you could buy them in Texas a little cheaper due to the sheer surplus of trucks going across the block every week.

I dont live there, the inlaws do. Moved there 4 years ago give or take? They live outside of KC in KS in a place called Overland Park which is a pretty short distance to the Missouri state line and about 30-40 mins from the airport.
I go out maybe 1-2 times a year now. It will be nice once their house is rebuilt(burnt down).

Just like any major city, some places are more expensive then others. The area they are in is a little more pricey then others, about comperable to me living outside of Philadelphia in an up and coming area(but still probably way better then CA). There are plenty of nice cars around, and the old car scene seems to be nice. Still trying to get the father in law to get a vert mustang or some form of luxury vert.
There is great food all over the place and they are catching up on breweries/distilleries.

Its a pretty cool area actually. Ya know other then the tornados and shit

But the people who live there all the time are going to give you a better insight then me thats for damn sure!

Overland Park is a great city as well, alot to do and tons of great places to eat. Big downside is apparently someone at the asphalt companies pissed off the city council as they are redoing all their roads with the nasty chip and seal. Nothing like fresh oil and pea gravel on all the roads.

    I saw that this morning.

OP, the car scene is pretty big in the KC area. It's nothing like SoCal or Miami...but there's a lot of money driving around.

I've lived in KC my whole life. Live in downtown on the MO side. It's great. Highly recommend it. Come spend a weekend here, it's a fun town.

Kansas City/Hey, Hey, Hey, Hey. Any Beatles fans in here? I'm finding all kinds of interesting nuggets about KC before my trip this weekend.

I grew up in KC and still have friends and family there. It’s a good place to live and sounds like it’s gotten better (new drag strip!). The weather kind of sucks humid as hell in the summer and ice storms in the winter. The only other negative is the low cost of living can translate into low salaries in some cases. I will leave Colorado when I retire maybe sooner and would definitely consider moving back to the KC area.

Enjoying it so far. Met John and Hope Hennessey at the airport in KC. Nice folks. As for a rental car, really liking the sounds this 5.0 GT makes.
