This weekend i pulled the engine and transmission. This is the project that keeps on giving. The transmission has a ACC Performance 2800 stall in it. The engine has a custom Lunati cam not a E303 and the roller rockers are actually 1.6 Scorpions, not 1.7's. I pulled the 9qt Canton oil pan off and found that it has a Scat 9000 crankshaft in it and 6.2 Scat h beam rods. Pulled the heads off as well to see what pistons are in it, looked up the numbers and they came back as Mahle forged pistons .030 over. Engine is pretty damn clean and the bores still have crosshatching. That gives me 418 cubic inches that i had no idea were hiding under all of the roughness. Ive ordered all new gaskets and will start putting this back together when they get here. After talking to Lunati and getting their recommendation on how to set up the cam ive decided to set it up on a 110 centerline. According to Lunati it should build power 2500-7500. I also got in the metal cowl induction hood for it and a lot of other new parts to replace the stuff that hadnt been replaced.
