Large/small/deleted side graphics?
I could be wrong, but it seems that engine construction has advanced enough that traditional break-in procedures aren't as big of a concern as they once were. (are the 3.0 Raptors "boost limited" for a certain mileage when new?)

Tob, ok, cool, thanks for that!!

andymark-I don't believe they are. I feel like it has as well, however, I've 'broken' some in and other just drove them, so I'm on the fence!
Small side graphics. Just saw one with graphic delete and it looked good!

Congrats! FWIW, I sure would not make a 1700 miles trip, that's what transport companies are for.....
Different strokes for different folks. Many would trailer it. But not all. @Tob, of course, did it, and loved the drive. I would do it in a heartbeat, more for the pleasure of the journey home in a special, new vehicle. Now if the car was a low mileage collectible and I didn't want to add miles, definitely a trailer. Just saying!

^^^That's the plan as of now. Will look into some other options, but I'd like to do that.

Worried a little about the break in, as it would be a LOT of highway miles/difficult to vary rpm/gear/etc.

The break in stuff is pretty overrated anymore. A lot of engineers will tell you to go ahead and run it however you're going to drive it.

I mean, I'm working on a plan to get my GTD delivered to a track.

I couldn't agree more.

What you should be focused on are oil changes if longevity is on your mind. A good practice is to do them more often than the owner's manual tells you. The orifices in variable valvetrain components need to be as clean as possible as do galleys and bearing surfaces.

Mine was ordered, built and delivered in just under 10 weeks. Some guys in the raptor forums say they ordered early in the year in 2024 and had to wait 8, 9 10 months for delivery.
