just how low can you go??

before the bed will bottom out on the axle?

i have a 99 f150 supercab and want to drop the back as much as possible. right now its got a roush 3.5" drop in the back but is still about 2" above my 22" tire. i want to drop it a few more inches but am curious at what point the frame will begin to bottom out.

anyone know?

I have a 6 in DJM flip kit. Before I installed the DJM c-notch I had about +/-2 inches. Now I have the c-notch and it never hits, shocks bottom out way before. I plan to install JLP adjustable shackles for another 3 inches. That will give me about 9 inches of drop in the back. The front of my truck is lowered about 6 inches. I have a combo of DJM control arms and Western Chassis 3in coils, but my truck has the 5.4 and damn it is low. I have some bad negative camber and need to relocate the upper arms.

Yeah but I have not taken a pic of this truck since about a month after I bought it, I have had it 4 years now. I will have to do that.

My truck is lowered 8" in the rear, with NO C-notch. But I did trim the bumpstops.
