Block, heads and cam are stock. MMR longblock goes in in April. Boost will be turned up to 18 psi after the install. This motor is at the max and suprisingly shows no strains with 11psi. Clutch, exhaust, rear, suspension, driveshaft have all been replaced or upgraded.

very nice. that should be a monster when you put the new motor in and turn up the wick.
I have a dumb question? is boost boost? What I mean is the boost from a super charger at 10 psi making 500 rwhp (example) vs. a turbo @ 10 psi. I'm assuming the turbo will make more hp at the same psi due to efficiency?
and will a stock motor have more longevity at higher boost with a turbo than one with a supercharger?

TERMIN8TR I have had blowers before and went turbo this time. It is true that 10 psi of boost will not be the same when comparing blowers to turbos. The turbo will always win due to no loads placed on the engine to spin it. Even with blowers 10 psi vs hp is different from brand to brand based on the type of blower.

A stock motor will eventually puke its internals when exposed to high boost levels. I have always had good luck with stock internals because I have real expectations and do not crank up the boost any more than 11 psi.

What is the kit that you put on, i love the skirts, also where did you get your stripe kit from i have the same hood and spoiler as you on my car and i wanted to to stripes but was hesitant because of it not matching up all the way but you did a great job.
