Congrats OP! I dreamed of being a pilot as a kid, but life had other plans for me.

If I could go back and do it all over, Id do anything I could to become a 747 freighter Pilot. I can only imagine how cool it would be to fly a 747 all over the world carrying different loads and freight.

I’ll keep it from being too long winded here but I just completed my first solo flight last week. It’s by no means the end of the trip as I am pursuing my commercial rating but let me tell you..... it was ****ing amazing to fly by myself even if it was pattern work! I have a video of my take off but it was nothing spectacular. Regardless, if this is something you have been wanting to get after all I can say is just ****ing do it!

Congrats man! You've taken the first step! Having that freedom to fly is an amazing feeling! I started my journey decades ago, but believe it or not, out of fear, not interest in flying. Fly safe!

Dude, there is nothing wrong with that! We all have our limitations, and I can certainly respect it. And no disrespect some people are not cut out for it. It’s better that you saw it before hand.

Congrats. Commercial heli pilot here. When you can, get out of that pattern and go solo cross country. You'll love it. This pic was taken the other day here in south TX. This ranch has it's own airstrip and roadcorse. ( Nissan CEO )
