This is the S-197 Mustang page, thats why I am looking around in here, says "S-197 Mustang" right on top of my screen.

Intake and tune is the best for a N/A application. If he's looking at a supercharger in the future, then I wouldn't touch the engine untill he knows what kind he wants. Then I would do exhaust(headers, x-pipe, mufflers).

He needs a JLT CAI & SCT2 Tuner.

Then he needs to look into exhaust, axleback first, then a midpipe.

Intake & Exhaust will give you 300 RWHP...

Why do people get axleback exhausts?...seems to be alot of money for only 2 or 3 rwhp? I guess for the sound? I just must be a spoiled 03 Cobra owner and expect more for 250.00 to 450.00 dollars. When I look at the exhaust under my new 06..it looks very well done from the factory. For me...its going to be CAI and Tuner as soon as miles get on her abit more.

Sound. That's all they are good for. I have to admit that my flows do look good with 4" rolled tips. So, sound and looks.

Yah you really don't get power worth mentioning from catback/axelback exhausts on the 05. If you want more power you would have to change out for a new H/Pipe and some Long tubes.
