If that is the whole story the shooting is definitely unreasonable...

The officer should have never had his finger near the trigger unless he intended to fire...

this cop should be held accountable and face charges if the story is true. He should have had better control over his weapon. This is gross incompetence and negligence at it's finest. Done detainee procedures and no matter how much adrenalin was pumping, better control was always maintained.

He should definitely be criminally charged with involuntary manslaughter. And should no longer be a Police Officer.

Yup, sounds like an assassination. Police officers on SWAT team raids have vast authority and in turn should have be held to a very high standard of responsibility.

This case shows that the justice system might not be ready to implement a full police state. Maybe in the future officers will also be charged with animal cruelty for shooting the "dangerous" family golden retriever on SWAT raids
