JLT Intake install HELP!

Just got my first Cobra last week and let the mods begin. I installed a mac pro chamber, Borla cat back and JLT CAI intake today and the car starts for 2 seconds then dies. I went through everything and everything is in its place. I disconnected the battery for 30 min and did the same thing, started and died...

i had a 2000 GT on spray for 7 years so I'm just a SVT newbie

Searched for this one already so if you found a post already about this please don't hate.

Are you 100% sure you IAC and maf are plugged in?

The new JLT CAI requires a retune since it changes the diameter of the MAF.

IAC and MAF are connected. I will switch back to the stock intake tomorrow and we'll see. Might have to keep the CAI in the closet till I get my pulley and tune done

So I'm a ra tard and had the MAF in the wrong direction :bash: car runs perfect now without the bad installer mod. I can wait to pulley and chip it in December.

definitely should be tuned even though you got it up and running . I lost 20 rwhp after my JLT Intake install . Went and got it retuned and picked up 6 rwhp from where I was before with the previous intake .
