JLT CAI QUESTIONS

Hey guys new to the forum. I just recently purchased a 2003 and when installing this JLT intake i noticed the two formed plastic tubes seem almost to short, they come off of the IAC and The PCV. Has anyone else noticed this? i made them work but not happy that they do not push completely in any advice would be appreciated thank you.

Most guys run a longer piece of hose from the intake tube as a spacer almost. On a stock truck a cai is a waste of money.

I was hoping this truck had the stock air box on it but it had some raggidy old airaid system on it. i just replaced it to make it look better was all i wasn't expecting anything out of it.
