Ok last year you guys helped me with the issues I was/am having but I have kids so things are always busy and lots of times things don’t get done as quickly as I would like lol you guys always help so much and I appreciate it thank you
As a reminder . The Car was going into limp Tifosi performance changed the intercooler water pump even though it didn’t need to be changed so I was still having issues and I wanted to go to HPP but they are really busy and I understand they are busy because they are good at what they do. I’m also impatient though so have been trying to fix myself . Last October I changed the thermostat which helped some after that I have not seen the collapsed upper radiator hose again. But still having issues so started looking at electrical issues like you guys suggested. The codes I was/am getting are downstream o2 not ready catalyst not ready I changed the o2 hoping it was the issue but it wasn’t. so then I started looking for possible wire issues and I ran into a problem with MAF wire harness .
When I unplugged the female plug on the harness from the big one that runs along the front of the car the plug broke . Some of it stayed inside and took a pin with it too . I thought about repining but it seemed like it was too far gone so I spliced in a new connector. The connector looks like it is working and all 6 wires seem to be attached like they should but I’m still getting not ready for the catalyst and downstream O2 .
So that said what am I missing ? Any ideas about what could be causing the issue ? The pic is of the one I replaced I also copy pasted the report I ran too.
sorry it isn’t as organized as I would like I’m doing this in my phone

Looks like you have a misfire issue in multiple cylinders as well as on start up. First thing I would do is get your reference values and compare them to the freeze frame stored data for the fault and look for any values that are out of spec. Your issue could be related to air, fuel, spark or even a vacuum leak. Until your powertrain issues are resolved your emissions testing will not complete.

I did download that thanks @Vinnie_B
I also bought a think car which is supposed to give more information than the obd that I have . Anyway I use them both the scan I posted before is from the obd
I ran the Thinkcar this morning and watched the numbers key on engine off . What it was showing was the downstream o2 going from 0 to a little below 0 and back .
It did show a diagnostic code of 2048 which I circled in yellow in the first pic, but they didn’t come up on ford link though maybe I was doing it wrong. But i thought maybe this was the issue ? I posted the screen shot of what I’m talking about and the rest of the Thinkcar report . I also changed the throttle body with a known working one last year in October or November. What do you guys think ?

You need to post the factory reference values so we can see the difference. You also need to test at Hot Idle not KOEO (Key on engine off). Bring the engine up to operating temp and get those O2's in closed loop.

Ok , I’m sorry it took so long but I have been busy with other things that I had to take care of first. Attached is the report I got from the Thinkcar . I tried to attach a file regarding the information I got from the OBDLinkMX+ too but it wouldn’t let me so please forgive for the copy paste I have to use instead . They seem to be saying different things but the thing that have in common is the U0401:81-0A code
I haven’t seen any other messed up wires but I can look again . I did see a post that the 2013 mustang 6cly had a powertrain recall recording reprogramming of the ecu but I didn’t see it mention the gt500 too ?that said should I keep looking for more wires , have the ECU reprogrammed or do something completely different.
Below is the OBDLinkMX+ report and attached is the report from the think car

A good place to start on this is to go here: https://www.motorcraftservice.com/Purchase/ViewProduct

and select the 72 hour/$22USD license to run OASIS. Bung in your VIN and the trouble code and see what it says.

I also checked the Service Manual CD for my GT350, here's what the signal in the attached image is about:

U0401:81Invalid Data Received from ECM/PCM A: Invalid Serial Data ReceivedThis DTC sets when the IPC receives invalid network data for the speedometer, engine temperature, or transmission fluid temperature data from the PCM . RETRIEVE and REPAIR all non-network Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) in the PCM and other modules on the network. Refer to the appropriate section in Group 303 for the procedure. If no Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) are present in the PCM , DIAGNOSE the observable symptom

Great thanks . I already purchased the 72 hours a couple of times and printed off the recommendations and a bunch of other stuff it showed so I would have it to look back at , but I will do it again to see if I find anything new

I feel like this is why I pay a professional mechanic.
I’m not saying that to be an ass.
Good luck.

No it’s fine and I agree but …. The car has already been to mechanics the last one charged me 1300 to change the intercooler water pump . Which was absolute BS I already replaced a plug that I found that had probably been arcing because when I unplugged it to check the plug it broke off inside and looked burnt. At this point I still intend to check the other plugs too which could be the reasons for the last code the car has but the next plugs are difficult to get to. Had to drain some coolant and need to remove a hose to get to them. I ask you guys and really appreciate your advice because I am learning as I go. sadly it seems the mechanics near me either don’t want to do it or don’t know much more than I do . And you know this @SHIFTYBUSINESS you wanna fix it for me ? LOL

Like I've said before I would do a datalog and contact VMP or a similar shop and see what they say. VMP has made a living tuning Mustang's they have seen all kinds of issues.

I believe you , but nobody can check the fuses or pull all the plugs telepathically to see if they are burned like the last one I had to fix. If you know anyone who can let me know because I was literally upside-down in the floorboard checking the **** fuses today.
I am using the website like suggested and I know it could be done faster but it will get done eventually. Had I not already lost count of all the idiots who have attempted to fix something they obviously weren’t capable of then maybe I would be more trusting but I’m not. On the bright side at least if I fail I don’t have to pay myself 1300 for a repair that isn’t done and a headache like Tifosi performance did.

If I knew a ford dealer I was confident in I would , but I have had bad luck with the ones who have attempted to work on my car and it is actually really funny how incompetent they have been but I’m tired of dealing with them. I know there are more ford dealers in the DFW area but at this point I have lost confidence in the ford service departments . I am following the advice I was given to pay the $22 and I am following those recommendations. I already fixed the connector that Tifosi performance has no excuse to have missed and at this point I am verifying there are no other connectors with the same problem. I know it’s taking me longer but considering I am doing this myself for the first time and ,it’s not the only thing I have to do ,it isn’t surprising to me. The mustang isn’t our only car so not being able to drive it to get places is not an issue.

Nick is not just any Ford dealer. He’s the owner and is an enthusiast.
I also wouldn’t take my GT500 to any local dealer, but I would have no problem taking it to Nick.
Outside of the intercooler pump connector (a problem because it’s a good flowing pump) I don’t see too many issues with failing connectors.
Good luck.
