there really isnt a reason to tune in lambda unless that is just your preferred way... because MOST widebands on the market are set up for gas scale.. just my $.02 and i've had pretty good luck tuning about 500 e85 cars..

Just my preference.

I have found different widebands have different stoich values for gasoline. Some are 14.7, some 14.64 some 14.1 (For E10) Also, depending on different amounts of Ethanol, this will change the stoich of the fuel as well.

Lambda is always acurate no matter the stoich of the fuel or variations in wideband gasoline scales. Hence more accurate.

I just choose to be more precise.
