Wondering how or if the factory clutch is shimmed. I had mine replaced as aske what if anything they did was different. Aside from replacing the clutch and flywheel again they did everything the same. According to them the cluth is setup by Ford when it arrives.They could not say why the last one failed.
Then I got a good talking to by the Sevice manager about Ford denying my warranty for using my car in "time trials" because the car was " not built to race":dw: I just chuckled and asked him why Ford buit a car with over 500 hp then. I also pointed out that the clutch they gave me Ford has in the 2012 which produces more hp from the factory than my 08. His warning was a bit of a ball buster but I've seen several cars making more power than me run for quite a while on the OEM unit. Oh well. Pay to play
