Soo we have a local private airstrip that we have fun runs on and id like to have the best setup for that, I have a Paxton car on 10lbs with a 3.90 gear. I just came from a 26.5 inch tire to a 27.7 inch tire and honestly the car felt like it pulled harder? I do 40 and 60 to 130-150 rolls mainly and track time 8th mostly. Should I go back to a 3.55 or a 3.31 and would I actually go faster? Help me understand because I figured with the torque multiplication of the 3.90 itd actually help?

I run a 3:80 gear with an a6.
I run a 3:90 gear with a paxton and a tremec it pulls harder then my mt-82 with 3:31's! 27.2 inch tire!
The gear set is alot different in the tremec. What gear set do u have? 2.66 or 2.97?
I know, its alot different, i have the 2:97 its a bad ass tranny. Thinking about dumping my 8.8 for a 9inch in the spring same gear set!
