I think a 26 inch tire would work much better for me but my old man is giving me a set of e.t streets 275/60/15 with decent life left on them. I have a 2001 gt. When they go on the car it will have Intake, tb, ported plenum, slp lt headers, o/r xpipe, magnapac exhaust, tuned, 4.10 gears 3800 stall, strange shocks and struts with eibach drag springs. Weight of the car should be a little over 3100lbs. I know it is lacking in the hp department. But will 28inch tires hurt me enough to the point that I should spend the 400 $ for a different pair.

I would try the 275/60 if they are free :burnout:

How ever a 275/50 will work better in your application im sure. with the 60 series tires its going to be like taking your 4.10 and going to a 3.55
