I have an alpine headunit I took out of my 04 when I sold it. Comes with the dash kit and harnesses. Ipod compatible. Comes with the ipod cable as well. Used less than a year. If you're interested pm me

Whats needed to hook the iPod up to a 04 stock radio?

There are a few manufacturers that have them. The 04's have an AUX button that was put there for sat radio that never happened due to supplier issues. Google it and you will find what you need.

This has been in my car for almost four years now, operating flawlessly and I didn't lose the use of my six disc in dash changer either. Don't order it off of the manufactures website, it can be had cheaper elsewhere.

Is this thing just plug and play or do you have to splice in a power wire? Where can I find it cheaper? Do you have the one that sends the text to the radio display?

I looked on the site and says not compatable with Mach460 system, and if this is not true (because in my search I hear their site is wrong)... is this the one I want? "PIE FRDN-AUX
Auxiliary interface for Ford vehicles with 16 & 20-pin setup"????

And will this work with the stamp size ipod, that requires the little headphone connection?

The PIE adapter will give you a headphone-style jack input, not an IPOD connector.
