Good day eh!

New to the forum, but not to Mustangs and cars in general.
I have an 86 GT with a 445" SBF and a T56 and a track ready blown 2011 GT.

I am currently building a 1984 Notchback with a 4.6 Cobra with 30psi. It's my first modular build, so the learning curve is steep.

Welcome. I see you've been to what used to be called Car Craft in MN. Have you ever been to the show in Clear Lake, IA?

And we're gonna need pics of all yer cars, please.

I've been there many times. I'm about 90min from Clear Lake and 2.5 hrs from the Cities. Being in the "sticks" I call those local shows.

The 86's 445 photo is attached. So is the 84's new 4.6. The 84 is a WIP but has 42k miles and was in a shed since 1989.

Welcome! If you want to learn all the right stuff from guys who know it, there is a thread on here titled ‘Aluminator build’ by jrgoffin (I think that’s his username).

I was like you, had built lots of Windsor based engines before but never a mod motor so when I found it and read through it all, took notes and learned a ton.

It has great information, pictures, proper procedures, parts info etc.

Welcome to SVTPerformance! Three Mustangs! You're staying busy. Good luck with the builds. The 4.6 build for the '84 should be fun, and interesting as you progress. Keep us posted!

Learning as I go. The 84 chassis had a number of differences that increase the PITA factor. The 4.6 is a wide load...so trying to do the hydroboost thing. I've learned a lot reading on here.
