Somebody call Nitto and tell them to hurry up with this Size!!!!!!!!

I made the mistake of putting them on a customers' Whippled 09 and now all of my 10-11 customers are calling me for "that new neato tire" lol

Matt Please PM me so I can pre-order 10 of them.

According to Nitto there are no plans to build their NT05R in size 285/35-19. What did you sell your customer?

Thanks for the poat Paul. Tire size 315/30-18 would be an excellent size to build and has been brought to Nitto's attention. Hopefully they release this size soon

Looks like the speed rating of this tire is low-This concerns me-Am I wrong-Gotta get some new DRs in less than a week and want more traction than the 555r that I have now.

it would probably be a 35 wouldnt you think?

It would be 315/30-18 as this size is close to the OE tire size in terms of rolling diameter. Size 315/35-18 would be over an inch taller. You can compare different dimenisons using the tire size calculator in my signature.

I just got off the line with Nitto and the 285/40-18 NT05R is on back order with no current ETA.

Has there been an update from Nitto when the 285/40-18's will be available? I'm looking to buy a set of these and if they are off backorder or will be soon then I'll be looking to get a set.

Actually what would pricing be on:

NT05 265/35-18 front
NT05R 285/40-18 rear

Thanks,

Shannon

Nitto plans on adding additional sizes to the NT05R line-up but there is no official word on what the new sizes will be or when they will be released.

Depends what model your referring too - GT500 stock diameter is 27" and a 315/35-18 is an almost perfect match. I currently have the Toyo TQ's in 315/35-18 (26.9" diameter) and love 'em. Would be more than willing to give the NT05R's a try next though, IF they made a 315/35-18.

I hope that a 295-35/18" tire is in the works for the nt05R and 555R, would definitely sale a bunch of those sizes. BFG makes it in their DR, why not nitto?
