Interior mod ... just thought I'd post some pics cuz I like how it turned out :)
It's a bright being yellow, but it really livens up the interior.

It was professionally painted by a friend of mustarrosa...
mustarrosa had him painted quite some time ago & I had since seen another fellow Zinc Yellow Cobra owner with his painted as well.
I just recently decided to take the plunge & have them done.
I was concerned that it would be too distracting, but it isn't...

I think it looks nice! I wish some place made some direct replacement ones though, that were say brushed, or carbon fiber instead of just the stick on kits, or painting the stockers.... Theyd make hella bank! :)

I really had to mull it over quite some time ... many months.
I thought about doing this over a year ago but decided not to -- thought it would look too richish & was concerned about yellow being too bright.

But it wasn't until I say a fellow zinc yellow 03 cobra owner with the mod that I finally decided I was going to do it cuz it did look good & not too richish...

Anyway, I just thought I'd post a pic. May not be for everyone (or anyone else), but I really like it so far. ... I hope it holds up over time or I'll wish I had never done it at all.

I especially like the wires coming out of the glove box, gives it a retro yet contemporary look ;p

looks good though.

I posted about this some time ago. I've got a 10th Anniv and would love to paint the center and shift bezel the same red color as the seat and door inserts. I saw this on a 10th in a Florida dealer and it looked fantastic. Only problem is that I have no idea what color to use and would not want to ruin my existing bezels experimenting. If anyone knows I'd do it this weekend...

Jpjr, I wish I could help you out with what color would match.

Anyone on this board done this mod yet for a red 10th cobra?

o3SnakeBite, I hope not ... they seem quite durable -- like a heavy clear coat on them.
mustarrosa has had his for some time & they still look awesome!
That was another reason why I had the same person do mine.

Some places won't touch interior trim pieces... I'm assuming for that very reason.

One of you mentioned a carbon fiber or a brushed aluminum finish that wasn't a sticker. I've got a line on a place that does this very type of work, and the process is very interesting.

I'm sending one of my a-pillar gauge pods to them to do a CF treatment as a one-off for display purposes. I'll post pics and impressions on the quality when I get it back. Might be a few weeks.

This is the place: www.phoenix-image.com

Interesting site and process, but that's all I know now.

Looks good coleman!

00 Aggie, name is Jarred Pullman & lives just south of Denton ... Corinth.
It cost me ~150 for the 6 pieces that you can see above...
I'm sure Jarred can match any color.
He even removed & was willing to replace my parts for me, but the rain prevented me from taking my car to his place so I re-installed the painted parts myself.
